Cloud & Hosting Management

Move to the cloud without the surprise bill, and stay there with an engineer watching it around the clock.

Best for

Companies on ageing shared hosting or an unmanaged cloud account where nobody owns the bill.

20 to 40%
Typical first-year cloud spend reduction
99.95%
Contractual uptime target
0
Unplanned downtime during a rehearsed cutover

What is included

Capabilities

The specific work, described in enough detail that you can compare it against another quote.

01

Migration with a Rollback Plan

Lift-and-shift or re-platform to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, rehearsed on a staging clone first with a documented rollback point at each stage. Cutover windows are usually measured in minutes.

02

Cost Engineering

Right-sized instances, savings-plan modelling, storage lifecycle rules and automatic shutdown of non-production environments out of hours. You get a monthly spend report showing what changed and why.

03

Autoscaling & Multi-Region Deployment

Capacity that follows demand instead of your worst-case guess, in whichever regions your data residency rules require. Health checks pull failing nodes before customers notice.

04

Backup & Disaster Recovery

Automated encrypted snapshots with a defined RPO and RTO, plus quarterly restore tests. A backup nobody has restored is a hypothesis, so we test ours.

What you receive

Artefacts you own, not access you rent

Every engagement ends with documentation in your hands. If you ever replace us, the next team can pick it up without an archaeology project.

  • Target architecture diagram and written design rationale
  • Infrastructure defined as code (Terraform) in your own repository
  • Migration runbook with per-stage rollback steps
  • Monitoring dashboards and alert routing configured to your on-call
  • Monthly uptime, spend and capacity report

How it runs

From first call to steady state

The same four stages apply to every service, so you always know which one you are in.

  1. 01Week 0

    Assess

A technical session on what you run today and where the business is heading. You receive a written assessment of risks, priorities and approach.

  2. 02Weeks 1 to 2

    Blueprint

Target architecture, component choices, monthly running cost and a migration sequence with rollback points. Fixed price, delivered as a document you own.

  3. 03Weeks 2 to 8

    Build & Migrate

Infrastructure as code, staged cutover, and a rehearsal before anything touches production. Planned downtime is agreed up front, and usually there is none.

  4. 04Ongoing

    Operate

24/7 monitoring, patching, backup verification and monthly reporting on uptime, spend and capacity. Your named engineer stays the same.

Ask Something Else

Whichever fits your workload, your team's skills and your compliance obligations. We are not a reseller, so no commission steers the recommendation. Most mid-sized businesses land on AWS or Azure, and when a well-run dedicated server is cheaper, we say so.

The plan is always zero downtime: old and new run in parallel, and DNS switches once the new environment is verified. Where a database cutover genuinely needs a freeze, we schedule it in your quietest window and tell you the duration before you approve.

Yes, and it is a common starting point. We begin with an audit: what is running, what it costs, what is exposed to the internet and what has no owner. You get that in writing before we change anything.
